FACE Mineral Light – Brow Pigment

A neutral light brown on a yellow base for clients with light-brown hair and light brunettes. One of the most popular shades in the palette.

Formerly FACE Dark Blonde. FACE has renewed the formulas of the Minerals line and renamed several shades. If you used to work with Dark Blonde, Light is its successor.

About the FACE Minerals brow line

Part of FACE MINERALS: an innovative 100% mineral formula. Thanks to its fine dispersion, the pigment lays into the skin more evenly and faster than comparable mineral pigments, giving natural, noble shades and a soft, delicate fade.

How to work with it

• Dense, short strokes close to each other
• Large overlap of 70–80%
• 2–3 passes are optimal
• Suitable for manual techniques; for a thicker consistency add FACE Satin

Healing and wear

Heals with 40–60% retention, so the result is easy to perfect at the touch-up. The pigment lightens evenly, keeping the shade clean and stable, and fades almost to zero in about 1 year. Laser removal is without colour inversion, through a light warm undertone.

Corrections and cover-ups

Ideal for refreshing permanent makeup and correcting very light residue. For real cover-ups FACE recommends the Hybrid or Organic lines.

Mixing

The Minerals line has a different liquid base: do not mix it with the FACE Hybrid or Organic lines or with other brands. Adjust the mix with the line’s own correctors: Gold to lighten and stabilise, Bronze to warm, Black Brown to darken.

Storage and use

• Store at 10–25 °C, away from direct sunlight
• Shake the bottle for 5–10 seconds before use
• Work with disposable gloves and close the cap tightly after use
• Adjust the consistency only with FACE Satin or FACE Pigment Thinner, never with water or other diluents

FAQ

I used to work with FACE Dark Blonde. Which shade replaces it?
Light. FACE has renewed the formulas of the whole Minerals line and renamed several shades: Dark Blonde is now Light, Light Brown is now Medium, Warm Brown is now Warm and Graphite is now Black Brown. Blonde, Bronze and Gold keep their names.

Which Minerals shades are the most popular?
Light, Warm and Dark. With these three you can find a shade for almost any client.

Which shades work on warm and on cool skin?
Warm skin: Medium and Dark, or add Black Brown to the mix. Cool skin: Warm, or warm up other shades with Bronze and Gold.

How many procedures does one bottle cover?
On average a 6 ml bottle covers 9–13 procedures and a 12 ml bottle 18–26. Actual consumption depends on the starting skin, the number of passes and the technique.

Can I mix FACE with pigments of other brands?
FACE does not recommend it: liquid bases and auxiliary ingredients differ between brands, so compatibility can’t be guaranteed.

The pigment won’t come out of the bottle. What should I do?
The narrow nozzle may have dried. Gently pierce it with a needle.
