How to choose the right shade

• Match the shade to the client's skin tone. Light skin usually suits pink-beige and caramel, darker skin suits brick, rich brown and chocolate.
• Use two or three shades to build a realistic 3D effect: a lighter base with a deeper centre and texture.
• A set is the easiest way to start, because it has a full palette that blends well together.
