Organic, mineral or hybrid?
- Organic: bright, clean shades that heal soft. Ideal for hairstrokes and light skin.
- Mineral (inorganic): warm, stable shades that are less likely to turn cool. A good choice for powder brows on oily or mature skin.
- Hybrid: the best of both, with predictable healing and long-lasting colour for most brow techniques.
How to choose the right shade
- Match the client's hair colour and skin undertone (warm, cool or neutral). Use the filters to narrow the range by base and undertone.
- Use a warm or orange corrector over old, cooled brows before you add a new shade.
- For microblading, pick slightly thicker, more saturated shades. For machine shading, fluid pigments give soft, even gradients.
Also take a look at our correctors, pigment thinners and brow cartridges to complete your setup.
Frequently asked questions
Why do eyebrows turn grey, blue or pink after healing?
A grey or blue result usually means the warm tones of a shade have faded while the cool part stayed in the skin. This happens more often with very dark or organic shades in fair or thin skin. A pink or red result often comes from too much warm or orange pigment. Match the base and undertone to the client, and neutralise an old result with a corrector before you work a new shade.
How much lighter do brow pigments heal?
Brows usually heal softer and lighter than they look straight after the procedure. How much depends on skin type, technique, needle and aftercare: oily skin tends to soften more. Plan a touch-up to perfect the result, usually 4 to 8 weeks after the first session.
Can I work over old brows done by another artist?
Often yes, if the old work has faded and the new shape covers it. Neutralise unwanted cool or warm tones with a corrector first. Old work that is dark, dense or in the wrong place is best lightened with a remover before you start.
Is there a way to try several brow shades at once?
Yes. Our pigment sets combine the most used shades of a line, for example the Hanafy and AS Company brow sets. They cover most clients and cost less than buying every shade separately.
