Best-Selling PMU Pigments of 2026: What Artists Order Most

Which pigments do PMU artists actually reorder? Instead of guessing, we looked at our own sales from January to October 2026 and ranked the shades professionals bought most often at PMU Master Boutique. Brow pigments dominate the list, and one brand stands out: Hanafy.

1. Hanafy No.5 Black Brown

The darkest and most intense shade in the Hanafy brow palette, a dark chocolate tone. It is recommended for brown-haired clients with cool eye colours (Fitzpatrick II to VI) and gives deep saturation where lighter shades fall short. It can also be used on the eyelids for interlash or shading work, and it mixes well with other Hanafy pigments.

2. Hanafy No.3 Milk Chocolate

A warm, versatile brow shade for blondes and light brown-haired clients with warm eye tones, and one of the most popular pigments in the Hanafy collection. According to the manufacturer it does not migrate into cooler tones after healing, so artists also use it for clients with a cool skin type.

3. Hanafy Hairstrokes No.3 Dark

The deepest shade of the Hairstrokes collection, made for hair stroke brows. It is the main colour for brunettes and brown-haired clients with dark brown eyes, and it also works as an accent next to lighter shades for depth and natural contrast.

4. Hanafy No.7 Deep Black

The only eyeliner pigment in the top five: a universal, deep black that does not turn blue. It is designed for classic and dramatic eyeliner, from a fine lash line to a bolder wing.

5. Hanafy No.4 Dark Brunette

A dark chestnut brown for brown-haired clients with dark brown, cool eyes, Fitzpatrick types II to VI. Together with No.3 and No.5 it covers most brow clients in a studio.

Also popular in 2026

  • Hanafy Pulse No.5 Americano: a neutral, near black brown for clients with deeper skin tones who want bold brows.
  • Hanafy No.4 Cherry: a rich, noble lip shade for clients who prefer expressive colour over nude.
  • FACE Caramel: a natural pink brown nude that covers well and works as a base for lip mixes.

A note on lip pigments in the EU

Some well known lip shades contain Pigment Blue 15:3, which is restricted in PMU and tattoo inks under EU REACH. Within the EU we sell those shades for practice on artificial skin only, which is why they are not in this list even when they sell well. Every product page shows this notice where it applies.
